The members of Jackie Rob (Concise & K.Words) have been the in house producers for the True 2 Life Music family since its inception. From the start they continually pushed each other to improve and create a sound scape for the team that reflected the mosaic of individual styles the artists involved. Their success and chemistry as a production duo spilled over to their cohesive song writing and lyrical ability as an emcee duo. After producing 3 projects for the collective, they released a project in 2004 called “True 2 Life Music” as a duo. It was the album that really coordinated their sound and style and presented it to the world. The positive feedback was overwhelming.

Jackie Rob is continually bending and twisting peoples perceptions of rappers and what hip hop is supposed to be. Hip Hop is life. They embody that. They honestly and genuinely tip toe on the line between the most down to earth people you know and the most larger than life superstars on the planet. That balance is constantly represented in their music as they combine their undeniable swagger with honest and profound thoughts concerning life, love, personal struggles, and society as a whole. Refusing to be boxed in, their worldwide appeal is seen through their ability to entertain any crowd.... Whether it’s a hardcore hip-hop crowd, trendy club crowd, or college crowd, anyone can relate to Jackie Rob’s music. Even soccer moms.

There is certainly light at the end of the tunnel. JACKIE ROB is gearing up to release “The Talented 10th”, an album choc full of music that speaks to the soul. It is one thing to claim you have something different... every artist wants to seem different from the rest. Jackie Rob actually achieve this while naturally being a cut above the rest. From the hard knocking and melodic production to the written gems flowed over them, Jackie Rob will deliver an album that will catch the hearts and minds of anyone who has experienced joy and pain, love and hate, friend or foe. Heads will nod. Feet will tap. The album will be everything gritty, smooth, lively, and soulful you love about hip hop.
