So it finally happened… the show that I have been working on for 3 months now, is said & done with. It could not have gone better!!!

There were a number of celebs in attendance, including: Niki Taylor, Tyson Beckford, Phillip Bloch, Robert Verdi, Miss Universe, Miss USA, Chrisette Michelle, JD Williams, Bart Scott & Trey Songz.

The looks for this seasons men’s collection include: tailored 3-piece suiting (guys- vest are still very big), lots of straight silhouettes of rich fabrics in plaids, herringbones, & jacquards. It’s all about the layers

Also- one big trend that is for the really daring (not for you i bankers)… metallic – it was all over the catwalk in Milan & Paris & now it is finding its way to the NY runways.

Can’t wait to see these hitting the scene next fall!

This night found me impressed with the duds that the art goers of the male persuasion were donning. The frigid night & drafty gallery space had the outerwear making its appearance indoors.

Being raised in the south (a nice little town called Roswell, GA) I was ecstatic when I saw these next guys.

Get Ready- The show season is starting… Milan…Paris and finally it comes home to the Fashion epicenter that we know and adore – New York! February 1- 8 the city will be hot plate of press, models, celebs & fashion savants alike.

New York Fashion Week is the quintessential American fashion event; which draws over 15,000 domestic and international media decisions makers and media personalities; who, in their capacity as editors, reporters & purveyors of style, literally decide which products get much sought after exposure and in turn the trends we will be wearing very soon.

I am so proud to be part of the exciting and daunting task of executing one show as well as report my unfiltered views with you. As it stands my countdown officially begins… 27 days and counting…
